EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 24th day of August, 2015, at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten; and Roe and the <br /> following were absent: None. <br /> Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11243 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING BID <br /> FOR PROJECT P-14-07 <br /> 35W AT CLEVELAND AVE INTERCHANGE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for proposals for the improvement, according to the <br /> plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said <br /> proposals were received on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., opened according to law <br /> and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> Contractor Bid Amount <br /> Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $1,598,448.00 <br /> Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $1,678,150.00 <br /> Meyer Contracting, Inc. $1,716,392.99 <br /> Park Construction Company $1,799,579.80 <br /> Thomas and Sons Construction $1,847,253.59 <br /> C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. $1,890,603.00 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. of Forest Lake, MN, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder at the proposed contract amount of$1,598,448.00, and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. for $1,598,448.00 in the name of the City <br /> of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications <br /> thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />
