The next meeting <br />will be in September or October as schedules allow. <br />• Held discussions with Executive Manor Condominium associations about creating a Housing <br />Improvement Area (HIA) <br />• Met with a nonprofit affordable housing organization that builds homes for disabled veterans and is <br />looking at sites in Roseville <br />• Staff continues to negotiate with United Properties regarding the development of anoiher <br />Applewood/Cherrywood senior housing complex. <br />• Met with Parks and Rec commission to discuss possible expansion of Langton Lake Park and how it <br />may positively affect neighborhood quality of life for the Twin Lakes neighborhood. <br />• Staff will be meeting with the administration of the University of Northwestern on August 14, 2015, <br />to discuss a wide range of topics, including "Town/Gown" issues. <br />• Met with RVA, Police Department staff, and Community Development staff to discuss next steps for <br />the Hotel/Mote] study. <br />Ongoing Organizational Support <br />• Modifying TIF Districts to accommodate the Dale Street project and Twin Lakes expenditures. <br />(These efforts are a continuation of the overall TIF review from earlier in the summer.) <br />� Reviewed and revised how quarterly financial reports are prepared for the HRA. <br />• Developed several maps for Board to review for possible development sites. <br />• Respond to residents' concerns and needs. <br />• Scheduling of workshops for August through October. <br />Roseville Housing & Economic Development Team Report •July/August 2015 Page 2 of 2 <br />
