<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1116 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING SIGNS BY CHANGING THE TITLE OF <br />CHAPTER 14 AND BY AMENDING SECTIONS 14.010, 14.020, 14.070, <br />14.080, 14.120, 14.140, 14.170, 14.190, 14.191, 14.220 14.300, <br />14.400, 14.500, 14.600, 14.700, AND BY ADDING A NEW SECTION <br />14.195 TO THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The title of this Chapter is hereby amended to read as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />Chapter 14. Signs. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Section 14.010 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 14.010. Permits for Signs Required. Signs are <br />permitted in all Use Districts, subject to the provisions of this <br />chapter. No sign as herein defined shall be erected or attached <br />to a structure, fence or wall without a permit from the Chief <br />Code Enforcement Officer. Real estate and political signs in R-l <br />and R-2 zoning districts shall be exempt from this requirement. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />Section 14.020 is hereby amended as follows by amending <br /> <br />definition No. 10; deleting the existing definitions Nos. 13, 14 <br /> <br />and 15; renumbering definition 16; and adding new definitions <br /> <br />numbered as 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 14.020. Definitions. <br /> <br />10. Rotating Sign. A rotating sign is a sign or display <br />which rotates on its axis by mechanical means. <br /> <br />1 <br />
