4. WORK SCHEDULES: <br />� ➢ The normal work schedule w i ll b e f o r twenty four (24) hour duty shifts <br />. with 212 hours per 2 8 d a y work cycle. Any pre-approved hours over 212 <br />� hours in the established 28 day FLSA cycle shall be compensated at one and one <br />. half (1 '/z) the employee's regular rate of pay. <br />� 5. COMPENSATORY TIME: <br />� ➢ Compensatory time may be accrued up to a maximum of seventy two (72) hours, <br />a� in lieu of any overtime earned under the provisions of this contract (including <br />- holidays). <br />6. CALL BACK TIME: <br />➢ An employee who is called to duty during the employee's scheduled off-duty time <br />for emergency purposes shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 '/Z) times the <br />employee's regular rate of pay. A minimum of two (2) hours shall be granted for a <br />call back. An extension or early report to a regularly scheduled shift for duty does <br />not qualify as call back. <br />7. WORKING OUT OF CLASSIFICATION: <br />➢ Employees assigned by the Employer to assume the full responsibility and <br />authority of a higher classiiication shall be compensated at an additional two <br />dollars and fifty five cents ($2.55) per hour above the employee's existing <br />wage for all hours worked until such a time when a shift commander job <br />classification is established. At such time, the employee assigned to work out of <br />class shall receive the base entry rate for the job classification assigned. <br />8. UNIFORMS: <br />➢ Employer will supply all uniform and equipment. <br />9. PAID TIME OFF (PTO): <br />➢ Upon ratification, employees (in recognition of working a 24 hour shift / 2912 <br />hours annually) shall accrue PTO according to the following schedule. <br />Years of Service <br />0 - 4 Years <br />5 - 14 Years <br />15 or more Years <br />Annual Accrual Rates <br />201 hours <br />258 hours <br />314 hours <br />Bi-Wkly Accrual Hrs <br />7.75 hours <br />9.91 hours <br />12.06 hours <br />10. HOLIDAYS: <br />➢ Twenty four (24) hour shift scheduled employees assigned to work 2912 hours <br />annually will receive a bank of two hundred (200) holiday hours each calendar <br />year to be used at the discretion of the employee with the approval of the <br />supervisor. <br />➢ An employee who works a shift during a holiday will receive pay at their regular <br />rate for all hours worked on the holiday. Unused holidays from the previous year <br />shall be forfeited on the first of January each year. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
