<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1115 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTERS 250, 251, 252, 253 AND 254 IN <br />THEIR ENTIRETY AND ENACTING NEW CHAPTERS 250, 251, 252, 253 AND 254 <br />RELATING TO PERSONNEL MATTERS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Sections 250, 251, 252, 253 and 254 are amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />250. Purpose and Scope: Personnel Appointments <br /> <br />250.010. Purpose. <br />It shall be the purpose of this ordinance to establish a uniform <br />and equitable system of personnel administration for employees of <br />the City of Roseville. This ordinance may be referred to as the <br />"Personnel Ordinance." The City Council of the City of Roseville <br />has the sole authority to change any of the provisions of this <br />Ordinance. The City Manager has the sole authority to interpret <br />and implement the provisions of this Ordinance. The City reserves <br />the right to amend, modify or repeal any provision of this <br />Ordinance without prior notice to any employee who might be covered <br />by it. <br /> <br />250.020. Employees Covered. <br />The Personnel Ordinance shall establish the employment relationship <br />of all City employees except the following: <br /> <br />1. All elected officials and members of Boards and Commissions. <br /> <br />2. Members of the Volunteer Fire Department. <br /> <br />3. City Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br />4. Temporary employees who are scheduled to work, either full- <br />time or part-time, for less than twelve months in anyone <br />calendar year or who have been given a definite termination <br />date. <br /> <br />5. Persons hired to provide services for the City on a <br />contractual basis. <br /> <br />250.030. Provisions Superseded in Certain Cases. <br />The provisions of the Personnel Ordinance shall be superseded In <br />the following cases: <br /> <br />1. Any employee included in a collective bargaining agreement, <br />entered into in accordance with the Public Employment Labor <br />
