<br />2. Those in which an employee accepts full or part-time work <br />elsewhere, where such activity interferes with their duties <br />and job performance at the City. <br /> <br />3. Those in which an employee may gain access to information not <br />generally available to the public which may allow him/her to <br />directly or indirectly gain anything of value. <br /> <br />254.080. Endorsement of Products or Services. <br />No employees of the City will endorse any product or service <br />offered by a private business, which will ultimately be used in <br />sale or advertising promotions. This includes statements of <br />interpretation about the product or service, or the providing of <br />information in such a manner which implies endorsement. <br /> <br />254.090. Acceptance of Gratuities. <br />Employees may accept holiday gifts on behalf of the City or the <br />department when the gift is a nonalcoholic item, and it is <br />consumable within the department offices by department employees, <br />and where the gift is of a modest or nominal value. No employee <br />shall accept or receive any personal holiday gift. This policy <br />does not limit departments from being more restrictive if it is <br />important to the effective functioning of the department. <br /> <br />254.100 Smokinq Policy. <br />Smoking is not permitted in any City building or City vehicle. <br />Smoking includes carrying a lighted cigarette, cigar or pipe. This <br />policy is in compliance with requirements of the Minnesota Clean <br />Indoor Air Act. <br /> <br />254.110 Sexual Harassment. <br />The sexual harassment of any employee of the City of Roseville by <br />any other employee or non-employee is prohibited. The City will <br />not tolerate the sexual harassment of any of its employees and will <br />take immediate, positive steps to stop it when it occurs. The City <br />Manager shall establish and administer a detailed policy <br />prohibiting sexual harassment, including specific measures which <br />will be taken when sexual harassment occurs. <br /> <br />254.120 Alcohol and Other Druq Use. <br />City employees are prohibited from manufacturing, distributing, <br />dispensing, using or possessing alcoholic beverages and controlled <br />substances while on City-owned or operated facilities, or in City <br />vehicles, or while working in their official capacities. Employees <br />who violate this policy are subject to disciplinary action, <br />including suspension or dismissal and, in certain circumstances, to <br />legal prosecution. <br /> <br />254.130. Severability. <br />Each provision of the Personnel Ordinance is deemed severable from <br />every other provision. Any provision of the Personnel Ordinance <br />shall be found to be invalid or void, unless the Court finds any <br /> <br />11 <br />
