<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1137 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 31.060 OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, REGULATING EXCAVATION, GRADING, SURFACING <br />AND FILLING OF LAND IN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 31.060 of the City Code of the City of Roseville <br /> <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />31.060 Permits Required for Excavation, Gradinq, Surfacinq <br />& Filling. <br />No person, firm or corporation, shall engage in any <br />excavation, grading, surfacing or filling of land <br />in the City of Roseville, without first securing a <br />permit as set forth in this section: <br /> <br />(a) A permit is required from the City Manager or <br />designate, for any of the following: <br /> <br />1. If more than 50 cubic yards of material <br />are being placed or removed from the site, and <br />a permit is not required by paragraph (b) <br />below. <br /> <br />2. If filling activities occur within 10 feet <br />of a property line. <br /> <br />3. If the filling activities change the <br />drainage patterns of the applicant property or <br />adjacent properties. <br /> <br />4. <br />affect <br />area. <br /> <br />If filling <br />or al ter <br /> <br />activities will adversely <br />a wetland area or ponding <br /> <br />(b) A permit is required from the City Council for <br />any of the following: <br /> <br />1. For any filling or excavating on developed <br />land zoned R-1 or R-2 where the site is less <br />than 1 acre and the fill or excavation exceeds <br />500 cubic yards. <br />
