Human Rights Commission Minutes <br />April 15, 2015 <br />Page 8 of 8 <br />Ms. Collins reviewed the budget including current expenditures. <br />b. Other Items <br />There being no other items, Chair Groff continued to the next agenda item. <br />Future Agenda Items <br />Chair Groff stated in May the Commission would be following up with Essay Contest <br />recommendations, the HRC Award, and finalize the Parade details. <br />Commissioner Carey suggested the Chair and Vice Chair appoint a Commissioner to serve on <br />the Operations Committee as stated in the By-Laws. <br />Commissioner Bachhuber stated the Commission had discussed leaving this flexible for the <br />Chair and Vice Chair to meet the needs that arise. <br />Commissioner Carey stated this should be clarified in the By-Laws to state the Committee <br />consists of the Chair, Vice Chair and a third Commissioner as appropriate for the topic. <br />Commissioner Bachhuber stated they should also strike other Commissioners can attend because <br />they really cannot without violating the Open Meeting Law unless it is noticed. <br />Commissioner Carey moved and Commissioner Bachhuber seconded to amend the By- <br />Laws, Article 6.A., the second paragraph to read: "The Committee is composed of the <br />Chair, Vice Chair, and the Chair will appoint a third Commissioner as appropriate for the <br />toUic. The motion uassed unanimouslv. <br />Adiournment <br />Commissioner Sin�leton moved and Commissioner Bachhuber seconded a motion to <br />adiourn. Motion passed unanimouslv.
