SCHEDULE 3.1 <br />COMPENSATION <br />First Year Base Price: $2,000* <br />. � � � <br />Medical Direction <br />1 Prescribe patient care guidelines under which the Included in Base Price <br />provider's EMS personnel treat, based on community <br />standards and sound medical practice. Regularly <br />reviewed and u dated as necessar . <br />2 Review and approve in writing all BLS patient care Included in Base Price <br />guidelines that will be used by EMS personnel <br />delivering patient care, including BLS skills <br />variances. <br />3 Establish, participate in, and ensure the continuing Included in Base Price <br />implementarion of a qualiry assurance program as part <br />of a atient care im rovement rocess. <br />4 Maintain liaison with the medical community, Included in Base Price <br />including hospitals, emergency departments, urgent <br />care clinics, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare <br />roviders. <br />5 Maintain liaison with Chief Offcer Staff through Included in Base Price <br />regular communication. <br />6 Work with regional, state and local EMS authorities to Included in Base Price <br />ensure that standards, needs and requirements are met <br />and resource utilization is o timized. <br />7 Approve, direct, and assist in providing training Included in Base Price <br />activities that assure EMS personnel are competent to <br />provide safe and efficient patient care, including BLS <br />skills verification <br />8 Maintain awareness of disaster preparedness activities Included in Base Price <br />within the Metro Re ion. <br />9 Provide a cooperative partnership on supply chain Included in Base Price <br />management and purchasing of inedical supplies and <br />phannaceuticals <br />Continuin Medical Education <br />1 Provide 12 hours/year of EMT refresher curriculum to $75/student/year <br />cover re uired MN EMT Refresher materiaL (based on roster at start of 2 year <br />2 Provide a 25% discount from standard Regions EMS recertification period) <br />rate based on Roseville FD providing <br />instructors for materials <br />3 Provide Regions EMS instructor updates each quarter <br />to be attended by at least one member of <br />the Roseville Fire De artment <br />4 Provide one biannual skills evaluation cooperatively <br />instructed by Regions EMS and Roseville FD <br />instructors with medical director oversight <br />1032762-6 <br />13 <br />
