Below are <br />the job summaries and salary ranges for each position. Each positon is fulltime with the <br />exception of the Recreation Facility Coordinator which is half time; and each will include <br />benefits costing approximately 30% beyond the salary. All of the personnel costs for these <br />positions have been incorporated in the 2016 budget. <br />10 Assistant Fire Chief Job Summary: <br />11 The Assistant Fire Chief is an exempt Fire administrator whose primary objective is to effectively lead <br />12 and command the department in conformity with the Chief's direction, city and departmental goals and <br />13 objectives, community interests and within the pa�ameters as defined by law, code and <br />14 city/departmental policies and procedu�es. <br />15 <br />16 This position will apply professional managerial principles and judgment to assist the Chief with the <br />17 planning, leadership, operations, and administration of the policies and day-to-day opeNations and <br />18 activities of the Fire Department as well as the City's Safety and Risk Management Program; and has <br />19 direci responsibility for management and development of all functions of the Fire Department. The <br />20 Assistant Fire Chief has direct responsibility for the professional standards and emergency <br />21 management function as a key member of the department's management team furthering the City's <br />22 commitment and vision for an informative and responsive government. <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />Salary Range: Internally this position falls into grade 16 of the exempt ranges 42.91 — 51.70/Hr. or <br />$89,253 - $107,536 annually. <br />(1/2X) Rec�eation Facilitv Coo�dinato� Job Summa�v: <br />29 The Recreation Facilities Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, financial <br />30 oversight, scheduling, and supervising of park building operations to ensure com�nunity needs are met <br />31 with high quality service that promotes community engagement. This position manages the Neservation <br />32 operations ofpark facilities and aligns with City goals and strategic vision. The Recreation Facilities <br />33 Coordinator plans, promotes, schedules, manages staff, coordinates, supervises the park facilities fo� <br />34 the city; and acts as a community liaison.
