<br />92 .The standard of tree trunk measurement for replacement or landscaping trees.
<br />93 The caliper inch measurement of the trunk shall be taken at six (6) inches above the �round for
<br />94 trees up to and including four (4) inch caliper size, and twelve (12) inches above the ground for
<br />95 trees lar�er than four (4) inch caliper.
<br />96 CANOPY: A roof-like structure projecting from the building over an entrance or window that provides
<br />97 weather protection for the entry or window and, perhaps, the immediately adjacent area. Canopies shall
<br />98 be considered part of the wall area for the purpose of allocation of signage.
<br />99 CANOPY, AUXILIARY: A roof-like structure projecting over, including but not limited to, fuel pump

<br />102 attached or detached from the principal building. For sign purposes auxiliary canopies shall be

<br />104 CAR WASH: An establishment where washing, drying, polishing, or vacuuming of an automobile or
<br />105 other motor vehicle is done by service personnel, the driver, or by automated machinery.
<br />106 CATERING ESTABLISHMENT: A business that prepares food and beverages to be delivered off
<br />107 premises for consumption at a social, business, or civic function and may also provide service at the
<br />108 function.
<br />109 CEMETERY: An area used for the burial or entombment of one or more deceased persons, including
<br />110 graveyards, mausoleums, and columbaria.
<br />1 ll CITY: The word "City" shall mean the City of Roseville, Minnesota
<br />112 CLINIC, MEDICAL, DENTAL, OR OPTICAL: A building in which a group of physicians, dentists,
<br />113 or other health care professionals are associated for the purpose of carrying on their professions. The
<br />114 clinic may include an accessory laboratory, but not inpatient care or operating rooms for major
<br />115 surgery.
<br />116 CLUB, PRIVATE: See LODGE, PRIVATE.
<br />117 CODE: The words "The City Code" ar"Code," unless it shall be otherwise expressly provided, shall
<br />118 mean the City Code of Roseville, Minnesota, as amended.
<br />119 COFFEE SHOP: An establishment engaged principally in the sale of coffee, tea, and other
<br />120 nonalcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises or for carry out, which may also include the
<br />121 sale of a limited number of food items.
<br />122 COLLEGE OR POST-SECONDARY SCHOOL, CAMPUS: An institution for post-secondary
<br />123 education, public or private, offering courses in general, technical, or religious education, which
<br />124 incorporates administrative and faculty offices, classrooms, laboratories, chapels, auditoriums, lecture
<br />125 halls, libraries, student and faculty centers, athletic facilities, student housing, fraternities, sororities,
<br />126 and/or other related facilities in a campus environment.
<br />127 COLLEGE OR POST-SECONDARY SCHOOL, OFFICE-BASED: An institution for post-secondary
<br />128 education, public or private, offering courses in general, technical, or religious education, which
<br />129 operates in commercial-type buildings, wholly or partially owned or leased by the institution for
<br />130 administrative and faculty offices, classrooms, laboratories, and/or other related facilities.
<br />131 CO-LOCATION: The provision of multiple antennas of more than one commercial wireless
<br />132 communication service provider or government entity on a single tower or structure.
<br />133 COLUMBARIUM (PLURAL: COLUMBARIA OR COLUMBARIUMS): A place such as a vault for
<br />134 the respectful and usually public storage of cremated human remains within cinerary urns. Columbaria
<br />135 are accessory to places of assembly for worship, cemeteries, or mausoleums.
<br />136 COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY: See DRY CLEANING ESTABLISHMENT.
