(Ord. <br />1116, 10-12-92) <br /> <br />L. WINDOW SIGNS: Signs affixed to, or painted on <br />windows or placed wi thin thirty six inches (36") of a <br />window to be viewed from the exterior of the building <br />shall not occupy more than twenty five percent (25%) of <br />the total window area, nor shall they be placed in a <br />location that would block the view into the building <br />from a public street of the clerk or cashier's area. <br />Under no circumstances shall the total area of window <br />signage exceed one-half (1/2) the allowable area of <br />wall signage for the affected building. (Ord. 112, 4- <br />26-93 ) <br /> <br />M. GROUND SIGNS: In lieu of a pylon sign, a ground <br />sign would be permitted. Ground signs may be of equal <br />sign area allowed for pylon signs in the same zonlng <br />district. Ground signs shall be limited to a maximum <br />of eight feet (8') in height. Ground signs may be set <br />back from street rights-of-way a distance equal to one- <br />half (1/2) of the setback for pylon signs in the same <br />zoning district. (Ord. 1116, 10-12-92) <br /> <br />N. CONTRACTOR SIGNS: Contractor signs shall be <br />confined to the site of construction, alteration or <br />repair and shall be constructed of high quality <br />material maintained in good repair. No more than one <br />sign is permitted one on each street frontage the <br />proj ect abuts. The sign shall be removed wi thin one <br />hundred eighty (180) days of the date of the issuance <br />of a building permit for the work. A Conditional Use <br />Permi t is required for a contractor sign to remain in <br />place longer than allowed by this subsection. <br /> <br />In R-I and R-2 Districts, contractor signs may not <br />exceed ten :10) square feet in area or six feet (6') ir <br />height and shall be placed within the property line or <br />construction fence. In all other districts, buildings <br />one hundred thousand (100,000) square feet in size and <br />less are allowed one sign not to exceed forty eight <br />(48) square feet; buildings larger than one hundred <br />thousand (100,000) square feet and less than two <br />hundred fifty thousand (250,000) square feet in size <br />
