Civility Training
Ms. Collins stated after discussions with the Institute and the Library it had been determined that
a 9:00 am to 1:00 pm time frame would work the best on September 19. This is over the lunch
hour and they would recommend that a lunch be provided. The invoice from the Institute was
$1700 and this does not include a lunch. This leaves about $300 in the budget to work with for
providing a light lunch.
Commissioner Christiansen suggested having food brought in so people could eat while
participating. This would allow the training to remain on schedule and you would not run the
risk of attendance dropping after lunch.
Ms. Collins stated the intention would be to bring in a lunch. The Library did not have a
problem with food being in this particular location.
