Two design proposals were sought to create such a product. 38Murphy Creative Design – the designer of the City’s newsletter – submitted a proposal 39(see Attachment B) with a base cost of $4,700, plus approximately $700 for proofreading 40services. The cost to update the document would be billed at $100/hour. 41Grupa Creativo – the original designer of the Planbook – submitted a proposal (see 42Attachment C) with a base cost of $7,800, plus third-party costs (such as proofreading 43services). 44Additionally, since it has been 4 years from when the original content was put online, Staff is 45suggesting that before the Green Remodeling Planbook is transferred to its new home that it be 46updated. The original Planbook research was done by an intern hired by the RHRA who was 47studying sustainable architecture at the University of Minnesota. Staff suggests again hiring an 48intern to review the content to make sure it is still correct and update any areas where new 49materials have been developed.
