Rate: All officers and members of the Fire Department shall be paid an amount established by the Manager with advice from the Fire Chief, as part of the annual budget process. B. Computation: In computing compensation for fires, one hour shall be considered as the minimum to be paid any fireman or officer. Only such firefighters as respond to an alarm and whose names are certified to on the payroll by the Chief are entitled to receive compensation.
