<br />2. During a period of suspension. <br /> <br />3. During a period of incapacity caused by disability, illness or <br />injury (the Chief may require a written verification by a <br />physician. ) <br /> <br />4. During periods of vacation for five (5) consecutive days or <br />longer not to exceed a total of thirty (30) days per year. <br /> <br />C. Exception: Firefighters who are employed within the City who <br />respond during their daytime work hours and live more than five <br />(5) miles outside the City's boundaries shall be required to respond <br />to thirty percent (30 %) of all emergency calls occurring during <br />their working hours in the district where they are employed, <br />without regard to the exceptions set forth above. (Ord. 948, 3-26- <br />84) <br /> <br />106.10: <br /> <br />COMPENSATION: <br /> <br />A. Rate: All officers and members of the Fire Department shall be <br />paid an amount established by the Manager with advice from the <br />Fire Chief, as part of the annual budget process. <br /> <br />B. Computation: In computing compensation for fires, one hour shall <br />be considered as the minimum to be paid any fireman or officer. <br />Only such firefighters as respond to an alarm and whose names are <br />certified to on the payroll by the Chief are entitled to receive <br />compensation. (Ord. 691, 1-15-73) <br /> <br />106.11 : <br /> <br />FIREFIGHTER'S RELIEF ASSOCIATION: The <br />members and officers of the Fire Department shall organize <br />themselves into a Firefighter's Relief Association in <br />accordance with applicable statutes. (Ord. 691, 1-15-73) <br /> <br />106.12: <br /> <br />PENSION AND FUNERAL BENEFITS: The <br />amendment to the Bylaws of the Roseville Firefighter's <br />Relief Association, dated September 22, 1986, is approved <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 424A.02, providing <br />for the following benefits: <br /> <br />A. Service pension amount payable per month for each year - $15.00. <br /> <br />B. Lump sum service pension amount payable for each year of service <br />- $1,500.00. <br /> <br />C. Funeral benefits for death in line of duty - $4,000.00. <br /> <br />D. Death benefits for death not in the line of duty - $750.00 for each <br />
