<br />3. Training: The Chief shall be responsible for the proper training <br />and discipline of the members of the Fire Department and may <br />suspend any member for refusal or neglect to obey orders, pending <br />final action by the City Council on the member's discharge or <br />retention. (Ord. 691, 1-15-73; amd. 1995 Code) <br /> <br />B. Deputy Chief: In the absence or disability of the Chief, the Deputy <br />Chief shall perform all of the functions and exercise all of the <br />authority of the Chief. The Deputy Chief shall be assigned <br />responsibilities by the Chief. (Ord. 771, 12-29-75) <br /> <br />106.07: <br /> <br />106.08: <br /> <br />106.09: <br /> <br />RECORDS: The Chief shall keep, in convenient form, a <br />complete record of all fires. Such a record shall include <br />the time of the alarm, location of the fire, cause of the fire <br />(if known), type of building, name of owner and tenant, <br />purpose for which occupied, value of building and <br />contents, members of the Department responding to the <br />alarm and such other information as the Chief may deem <br />advisable or as may be required from time to time by the <br />City Councilor the State Insurance Department. The Chief <br />shall give duplicate copies of all such records to the City <br />Manager. (Ord. 691, 1-15-73; amd. 1995 Code) <br /> <br />PRACTICE DRILLS: Practice drills will be held in <br />accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the <br />Roseville Volunteer Fire Department. (Ord. 691, 1-15-73) <br /> <br />MEMBERSHIP FORFEITURE: A firefighter may be <br />subject to forfeiture of membership in the Department if <br />the firefighter does not meet the following drill and call <br />requirements: <br /> <br />A. Drills: All firefighters shall attend, during their available hours, at <br />least six (6) drills per quarter provided there are six (6) drills held <br />(exclusive of drills held during leave of absence, sickness, <br />disability and vacation time). Any firefighter who fails to make <br />the required six (6) drills in one quarter must make sufficient drills <br />in the following quarter to total twelve (12) drills for the two (2) <br />quarters. (Ord. 771, 12-29-75) <br /> <br />B. Emergency Calls: Each firefighter shall respond to at least thirty <br />percent (30 %) of emergency calls (as is more fully delineated at <br />Paragraph 5.3 of the Bylaws of the Roseville Volunteer Fire <br />Department) for the member's district, except calls occurring <br />during the following times shall not be counted: <br /> <br />1. During a leave of absence. <br />
