Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: January 26, 2016 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Item No: 4 <br />Project updates: <br />• Lift Station Replacements <br />• The Wagner sanitary lift station is completed and is up and running since the end <br />of November. Turf restoration will be completed in the spring. <br />• The St. Croix storm water lift station upgrade is progressing. The new fence and <br />transformer pad has been installed. Work had been delayed some due to the late <br />freeze conditions which prevented the pumps from being turned off and major <br />work beginning. <br />• 2015 Drainage Improvements <br />• Various Drainage improvements throughout the city. <br />• Inlet improvements at Bennet Lake Inlet are complete with the exception <br />of a new sluice gate which will be installed next spring. <br />• Major work on the installation of three filtration basins at Corpus Christi <br />Church is completed. <br />• Final turf restoration will be done in the spring. <br />• Twin Lakes Parkway <br />• Extension of Twin Lakes Parkway from Prior Ave to Fairview Ave. <br />• The Hagen building has been demolished and some trees have been removed. <br />Major road work will begin in spring of 2016. <br />• 35W & Cleveland Interchange <br />• Improved intersection improvements at35W and Cleveland Avenue. <br />• Major work will begin the Spring of 2016 <br />• Capital Region —Upper Villa Reuse and Infiltration Project <br />• Installation of an underground system on Upper Villa park behind the B -Dale <br />Club. <br />• All underground work installing the system has been completed. <br />• Final restoration work and start-up will take place in the spring of 2016. <br />• Metro Transit A Line BRT Project: Construction has started on the stations along <br />Snelling Ave at County Road B and Larpenteur (in Falcon Heights). Actual BRT service <br />is expected to start in the spring of 2016. <br />• Water Meter Replacement Project: <br />• The City's meter replacement contract with Ferguson will expire on January 31, <br />2016. Currently, there are 67 unscheduled meters to replace. Beginning February <br />1, city staff will work on replacing these. <br />
