As you are aware, the Anderts
and the Tschidas live in residential property immediately adjacent
to th parcel which we are rezoning. This letter is to recap our
conversations and to be a request from the City of Rosevlle to
accommodate the wishes of the property ownersa
First of all, in meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Tschida, they have requested
that there be no fence placed separating the proposed property and
their property. Their reasons for this are that their house sits so
very close to the property line that a fence would limit their side
yard, a fence would cut down their view from their dining room windows
and a fence would cut out the air circulation into their house. Niemiec-
Burrow-Trocbriclge, Inc. is agreable to this plan and in place of the
fence has proposed evergreen trees and Russian live trees as a protective
barrier. The reason for the combination of trees is that both trees have
compiete foliage throughout the winter and would provide the most complete
screening available.
The Tsch3.have also requested that the praposed curb cut on Grandview
be moved as far as possible. Niemiec-Burrow-Trowbridge, Inc. agrees
with this proposal and would be willing to place that curb cut anysahere
on Grandview that the City would deem as a good location.
Secondly, the Anderts have also requested the elimination of the fence on
the northern property line. The reason for this is the Anderts presently
have, running from Rice Street in a westerly direction, a very mature hedge
and Lhen a cyclone fence which is on their property whieh has been there
for many years, and a honeysuckle hedge on the nor.th side of that existing
cyclone fence. They feel that another fence in con'unction '
J ence would
1080 WET COUNTY RD. E. • 5T. PAUL, MINNESOTA 55112 e PHONE 493-4494
