.
.

PROPOSEll PLAhI FOR STORM SE6'ERS
The plan proposed for storm sewers for the area may be seen on Drawing No.
2. (Scale: 1" = 500').
It is proposed to limirate the open ditch north of County Road "B" by con-
structing a storm ewer of varying size (27" to 36") on Cohansey Slvd. the
site af a requested town house development. It is also prnposed to improve
the existing ditch for apgroximately 800 feet sout'n of County Road "B" by
widening and depening to its junction with th existing watercourse throwgh
B-Dale Villa Park and ultimately discharging into Lake McCarron. This im-
proved dltch xtends across both private property and the park, and enclosure
in a pipe line is not recommended due to the soil being incaable of carrying
a pipeline without piling support since it is mucky and peaty in nature.
In view-of the soil condition and the location of the park land to the south,
it would appear proper that encasemenr, if required, should await accurat
determination of future development.
Also indicated is a future sewer on County Road "B" to the east o Cohansey
B;.vd., construction of wiich should logi.cally await improvement of County
Road "B" by Ramsey County.
A system of storm sewers is proposed for the new street for the Nowicki
property immediately east of Dale Street, the eastern section of which will
dain to the improved ditch south of County Road "B".
3
