� <br />� <br />`�� <br />� <br />�. . <br />�; <br />��'� <br />FOR!�WORD <br />This repart is the sec4nd in a series of two reports covering the constructiQn of County <br />Road "B-�" between Trunk HighWay 35W (Cleveland Avenue) and Hamlfne Avenue. The first <br />report covered that section of proposed County Road "B-2" between Trunk Highway 35W and <br />Fairview and was reviewed with the Village Council and kl.anning Commission on March 21, <br />1964 . <br />The report to falluw covers County Road "B-2" between Fairview Avenue and Trunk Highway No. <br />51 to provide s�rvice to the abutting commercial areas. Also covered in this report is <br />the improvement of County Road "B-2" between Trunk Hig�way No. 51 and iiamlin� Avenue which <br />Vill provide for traffic �ccess to the aforementioned commexcial areas with additional ac- <br />cess to '1`runk H�ghway No. S1 (Snelling Avenue) being provided through a proposed tra�fic <br />interctnange with Tru�nk Highway No . 51 at County Road "B-2" . This interchange i� to be <br />constructed by the �State of Aiinnesota, Department of Highways at am approximate cost of <br />$800,000 which incl�ude�s $200,000 for btridge construction; �the balance is for roadwa� con- <br />stxu�tion which includes 2,30G �ineal feet of County Road "B-2" construction as a part of <br />the co�necting roadways within the interchange. <br />Proper ttraina�e is a necessary part of any street improvement pxogram. Study af the storm <br />sewers necessary� to provi�e this drainage has been made a part of this report, as well as. <br />a consideration of solutions to drainage problems within the total drainage district of <br />which this i.mp�oWement is a par t. <br />A icey mscp indicating the general location of the proposed im�rovement is shown on Dr�awi.ng <br />No. 1. <br />- 1 - <br />
