<br />As another example, we were especially proud �vhen, in 1960,�the
<br />i U. S. Congressional Joint Committee on Atomic Energy appointed
<br />d five of the firm's partners to review and report on all the data, mate-
<br />A rial and previous reports prepared about the �ossibfe addition of
<br />�elecrric power ger�erating facilities to the New Production Reactor
<br />� being built at Hanford, Washington, by the Atomic Energy Commis-
<br />� sion. After this report was submittecl, Congress approved a program
<br />r for adding power generating facilities to the reactor by the �Vash-
<br />ington Public Power Supply System, a non-federal public agency.
<br />R. W. Beck and Associates is serving the WPPSS as Consulting Engi-
<br />; ne�r for the project, which is schedufed to begin power production
<br />¢ in early 1956 as the world's largest commercial atomic generating
