Horton and Lucille E.
Hortc for Division of an Existing Platted Lot
I enclose original and copy of Application identified above, together
with four copies of the proposed plat.
I have gone nver this matter several iimes with Mr, and Mrs, Horton
from every possible point of view. Some man3T months ago I discussed
the matter with Mr. Dahlman. We all recognize it would be desirable
if a road could be put in acrss Mr, and Mrs. Horton's property more
or less parallel to Owasso Boulevard approximately half-way between
the lake and the road. While this might be desirable, it is impossible
without the cooperation of both the Hortons' neighbors, each of whom
has indicated a complete, intractable recalcitrance toward such a sug-
gestion -- they will hear nothir.ig of it. As a matter of fact, the ex-
perience of your Village with Ndr. Reiling should be such at this point
so as to make it clear this kind of solution of the Hortons' problem is
out of the question.
At some time in the discussions it had been suggested that a replat of
the Horton propei^ty might be pssible from the use of a cul-de-sac.
The engineer and surveyors sketched such a replat and at one time
made an effort to work it out. Prior to carrying through such a project,
