This propasai was firstreviewed by the Planning Commission at its last meeting, <br />at which time it was refF•red to the Park Board for their c;onsideration i�asmuch <br />as th� applicant proposes �to exchange a portion oF land fvr roadway purposes <br />for enough land to be dedicated on tne westerly s�de of his plat. <br />2. A copy of the report from Ic�st month is attached for your information de�cribing <br />the bQs i c proposa i. <br />3. This property was viewed by the Planning Commission and the Councii in the <br />process nf preparing the 701 Plan at which time it was decided that it woufd <br />be highly desirabie for the property in question to be pcart of the Viilage Park <br />system at sorr�� poinfi in the future. If the Village decides there ar� no means <br />of acquiring ihe land immediately, there is a questionas to whether or not <br />the property owner can wait untii such time as ihe Village may be abl� to <br />acquire it or wh�ther he has the right to procees� with some forrr� of develop- <br />ment novi. The property is an unusual one, and hcas access Po a pubiic street <br />only via a small portion of the c�l-de-sac on the west end of Woodlynn, If <br />fihe Village d�es not grant th� approval of a plat, hr�nging the street into the <br />west end of Woodlynn, c�nd the Vi I lage does not agree to the dedication or <br />the exchange �f (and providing access to Owas�o Boulevard, the property <br />would appear to be �ndevelopable, <br />4. Atrache� is a copy of a letter from the Park Board dated �ctober 30, 1969. <br />The Park Board suggests the change of p�operty as propnsed by tlie appi icant, <br />be denied. <br />
