A.ttached is a copy of �he report prepared for the May meeting regarding the <br />applicant's proposal to construct a 5ervice station in the parking area as shown <br />in the plans at the left. The request was tabled to a�low additianal tir�e for <br />the owners of the Pancake House to conduct additional in�estigation as to the <br />manner in which it would affect their deve{opment. <br />2. Since that time, the Target peopl � have met with representotives of the Village <br />and have revised their site plan to improve the access and ec�,�ss and general <br />� site �ondition by providing additional landscaped islands and �rnamentQl ' <br />lighting. <br />3. We have,as you know, conducted some parking counts to determine whether <br />or not the spaces that would be lost through the construction of the Service <br />$tati�n would adversely affect the retail operation. The conclusions frorre <br />that s��rvey were �hat the parlcing spaces provided will be adequate with the <br />station in place. <br />4. It shouid be borne in mind that the service station proposed, ciispenses gasoline <br />only, and no repairs normally assa:iated with ca service station operation. <br />� <br />
