C
June 29, 1983
- 3-
•
9) Thornton - 780-5500. Ken Thornton and Steve Butgusaim from 4-Star Realty
were in to discuss the division of land on County Road B, north of Burke
Street, This is a 65' lot with a depth of 257', which could be divided
with 119' of depth for the southerly-most lot fronting on Burke. This
would require tuning the garage around, which exists on the site so it
would be placed on the new 1ot and serve as a garage for that property.
This p roposal will likely appear as a proposed lot division in the near
future .
10) Witcraft - 941-4295. Dav Witcraft is purchasing the old Burger Chef
building at the northwest corner of Lexington and B, and was in to discuss
various ways in which the site could be replanned to provide for a drive-thru
service, plus adequate parkin g for the 92 seats in the structure. We discussed
and reviewed various alternatives, which he will take under consideration.
11) Ri chter - Leona Richter, A1 Richter, and James Richter were in to discuss
the possible development of their 100' wide strip of land at the northwest
corner of Highway 36 and Rice Street. They are asking $149,000 for it,
consisting of 1.74 acres. They have been offered $35,000 from Carlsan
Companies, which own the land to the north. Apparently, the Carlson's
want $275,000 for their 3 acre p arcel. The result is that the possibility
of getting this land together in the near future is somewhat remote.
Combining these two praperties, however, is the best solution for both
parcels, and we continue to pursue ways in which that can be accomplished.
The Richters indicate they have an offer tA sell to the Moose Lodge people,
whom they say are inte rested in buying.
