Tom Stahl, arch::.tect, and Ted Gates, rep.resentative of Mather
Tucker's Restaurant, bxought in a revised site plan for R staurantpThey
of the Iother Tucker site north of the Victoria Station roblem of
have prepared a preliminary plan which largely correcfis the p
having the entxance more accessable to the majority of the parking areas,
on the site. The restaurant wauld have 9,700 sq. ft., with a saating capacity
of 319, and parking for 140 cars. A grading plan and/or a landscaping plan
r ared for the s ecif.ic site plan, both of which they propose
had not been p ep P
to do as quickly as possible. We also discussed sign location and size,
noting that a pylon sign, 100 sq. :Et. in area, with 25' of height woald be
allowed under the ordinance. We discussed the possibility of a variance
to the setkack tn 15' , rather than the 30' due to site locatin limitatians.
Victoria Station has a similar setback variance on the site to the south.
We discoraged application for a variance to height in.asmuch as other
restaurants in the area have adhered to the height limitations. They
expressed their intent and desire to submit the application for site plan
approval under the B-1-b district and a variance in time for refe rral to
the Council at its July llth meeting.
