area is really quite straightforward, and it does appear that a
dedication oi the street to connect to the subject proerty could
be gained through the approval of the subdivision of the Zeece
plat. However, the key question is whether or not this land
should be disposed of by the City at this time. " -•
4. Tom Stark (483-3233), North Central Cable Television
Mr. Stark has been in on a number o occasions to review the
progress that he is making with a number of concerns that'have
been raised regarding.the North Central Cable Company's use of.
this property. Concerns have generally focused on the parking :,
service vhicles and he location of the dumpster an the subject
property. Mr. Stark shared with us his efforts in putting a new
no-left-turn sign on Woodhill Drive and the discussion that he
has had with his employees encouraging them to honor this sign.
He also explained that they are now putting all of th white
service vehicles behind the cedar fence and out of view of the
adjacent residential area after 5:00 p.m. Most of the
discussion, however, focused on the need to provide an enclosure
for the very large dumpstez• that sits on the south end of the
roperty. We talked about a number of alternatives that included
the possibility of going to smaller dumpsters and more frequent
pick-ups. Mr. Stark is going to talk with other members of his
company about how they want to satisfy this concern and return to
discuss with staff the direction that they wish to take.
5, Cliff Anderson (331-6400)
Mr Anderson owns a light manufacturing company that is
interested in bidding on the purchase of the property locaed
south of Terminal Road, just north and east of Delux Checking.
He was in to incuire about the nature of the zoning on the
property and whether or not his light manufacturing business
would be:a permitted use in the I-1 District. It appeared from
our discussion hat this use would be permitted"in the I-1
District. _
6. Jim Ternes

Mr. Ternes had ben in previously to talk about his plans to
expand his business ttzat is located just north of the Trunk
Highway 36 frontage road and west of Fulham Street. Mr. Ternes
has an existing business in this area and he has been in to talk
with us about the plans to expand to the north. This is the same
property that Mr. Anderson, the previous anpointment, was ir to
inquire about. From our discussion with Mr. Ternes, we learned
that this property is being sold through bankruptcy procedings
and that there will be a bidding process tn determine who will be
able to purchase this property. Mr. Ternes has done quite a bit
of work in preparing plans for expansion onto the siteand he was
concerned about rumors that he had heard about Murphy Trucking
Company purchasing the property to use as a parking lot. Te
explained that parking was an accessory use, and therefore, it •
