W� met Mr . Ri�:e and Mr . Anderson at Rent All Minnesota, County Road C and Rice, to review the outside storage. A Special Use Permit is required to establish the standards for the storage on site. Mr. Rice has been renting U-Haul trucks at this location, but given the additionai requirements for a Special Use Permit for that use, he told us he wi11 notify U-Haul and discontinue that use within 30 days, by August 15, at which time the trucks will be removed from the site. � We agr_�ed that, at a minimum, the ��atside storage o mater�ials, or vehicles on site would conform to th x��nding review and approval by the Planning Commission Council: f equipment, e following, and the Ci�ty 1) No storage will be placed on either the County Road C or Rice Street rights-of--way. 2) In fron�t of the building on Rice Street, there will be no �torage nn the parking area, since ali of the space out to the righ�k-of-way is r�equired for parking �nd maneuvering. 3) On the sidewalk in front of the building (facing Rice Street) any outside storage will be done in an orderly and attractive manner leaving at least a 3' wide aisle for pedestrian and handicapped access. 4) A handicapped parking space will be striped 12' wide and signed apprapriately at the south end of the row of parking in front of the building. A sloped access ramp acceptable to the City engineer will be constructed at the south end of the sidewalk to serve this space, connecting the parking lot level with the sidewalk and building floor level. 5) There will no storage or maa.ntenance of equipment, materials, or vehicles on the north side of the building • (facing County Road C) .
