Craig Waldron, Rick Jopke, Karl Ke • <br />el <br />The purpose of this session was to review the status of the <br />procedures manual and discuss refinements to the development <br />review the status of the Procedures Manual and discuss <br />refinements to the Development Review and Approval Process based <br />on the first few months of trial with new procedures. In <br />general, it was agreed that the Development Review Committee <br />meeting needs to be moved up much further into the process and <br />that all applicants need to have written notice of the findings <br />and results of the Development Review Committee meeting very <br />shortly after it has been held. <br />We also discussed the need to have some specific deadlines for <br />the resubmittal of drawings after deficiencies have been <br />identified in the review process. In addition, we reviewed a <br />number of issues that had been discussed with the Planning <br />Commission and suggested by the Planning Commission at the recent <br />workshop. We reviewed how these indications of policy and <br />procedure as suggested by the Planning Commission should be <br />included in the Procedures Manual. With these understandings, it <br />is our intention to finalize the Procedures Manual and to proceed <br />with its implementation. <br />4. John Norris <br />Mr. Norris did not attend this session. <br />5. Robin Davison <br />Mr. Davison is with Everest Companies and is representing the <br />Mack Truck facility Iocated to the west of Long Lake Road and to <br />the south of County Road C-2. Mr. Davison was inqu�ring as to <br />the procedure for requesting a vacation of the <br />Road C-2 adjacent to the Mack Truck facility. Hertwas �informed <br />that in 1988 the property owners to the north of County Road C-2 <br />(Rosedale Chevrolet) had already requested and a vacation was <br />approved subject to a number of conditions. In particular, these <br />conditions included the installation of concrete curb and gutter <br />throughout the Rosedale Chevrolet facility, as well as a number <br />of other improvem�nts.
