Klodt, 374-1770 <br />Paul Klodt was in with Dan Commers to ciiscuss the ext�nsion <br />of a cul-de-sac north of County Road C(near the west edqe <br />of the City) so as to serve pranerty tY�ey propose to <br />purchase from Williams Pipe Line to the north. W� had <br />suggested that they consider a joint development of both of <br />the Williams parcels, which they now have under <br />consideration. We talked about various methods of extending <br />public right-of-way and/or private acc�ess within the <br />developm�nt so as to provide proper vehicular circulation. <br />The impor�ant element �� the extension of th� cul-de-sac <br />whi�h wi11 involve acquisition of right-nf-way either on the <br />part af Klodt and his associate, or by tt.e City. The� are <br />�oing t� work out alternate plans for access and <br />d�velopment, anci get back to the City rer�arding potential <br />proposals. <br />We a�so discussed the develo�pment of the t��.angular shaped <br />land to th� north of Trunk Highway 88, which is planned for <br />Y�igh density re$idential. This is a 2.7 acre site which <br />�ao�ald produce approximately fifty u�its at th� normal �-3 <br />density. <br />4Je also discussed their potential investment in the tax <br />increment di�trict which we have been disaussing with them <br />frequemtly in the past. Mr. Klodt has opened, in January, <br />1986, a new Luxberg R�s�.dential Hotel, at llth and LaSalle <br />in Minne�polis. He nated that they have achieved eighty <br />percent occupancy in June, and are cansid�ring l�eating <br />similar facilities on other sites. He agreed to return at a <br />later date, to discv.�s possible dev�lopment in the Roseville <br />tax increment district, inasmuch as it was already 5:3Q p.m. <br />wrhen w� campleted our discuss�ons re�.ating to the other <br />properties. <br />
