Mosher, 484-5310
Orvin and Josephine Mosher propose to divide their 150 foot
width 1ot f ronting on Dale Street, slightly north of County
Road B-2. To the north of them, there is a thirty foot wide
strip of land extending east/west from Dale Street to the
next contiguous .ot. This thirty foot strip was left as the
northerly half of a potential street which could be extended
easterly from Dale Street to open up a series of ten lots.
This was done about fifteen ears ago when the Bancon people
platted some of the lats in th area. We discussed with Mr.
and Mrs. Mosher the gossibilities of dividinq their land to
include this stret which could be constructed and financed
by the City.
Their property is 32U feet deep, and thus would provide for
three lots rathe than two. We suggested a survey should be
prepared of the site, to include th location of the existing
home. It appears t}e land could be divided into two long
lots, the northerly on which might be in the vicinity of 70
feet by 320 feet depth. Obiously, this is a strange lot
suqgesting tYat the pzoperty might well be better divided
into thre north/sQuth lots, ach approximately 100 to 120
f eet in w.di , wi th a depth of 1 2 f eet . The Mosher' s
expressd irrteret in this cancpt, and are going to hire a
surveyor ta rewiew thse assibilites and will be back to the
staff to discuss the opions.
We sugqestsd hy contiact their neighbors at the appropriate
time to discrn t1e interest of those who might be interested
in pursuing th tn lo subdivision tht would be possible.
ie al,o notel tha if othexs a►re not interested at this time,
the lard might be patted i a fashion so as to provide for
th future xensian of this rodraay rather than divide the
propr'ty in tw lonq .hin lats, thereby making it extremely
difficult to ve exend te street easterly as would be
possible now.
9. Vision World, 36-0629
Russell Trenhehm and h= wi,f, Takako, are the owners of
Vision Word, an ye glass servic currently consiting of
twentyone stors, of which £ifteen are in the metropolitan
area. Their number one store in the area, in which they
produce most of th glasses, is in Roseville. The store
consists of 2,300 square feet in the Fairdale Shoppes, and
their production facilities consist of 7,000 square feet .n
the basement of that bailding. They note that about fifty
percent of tha:t spce .s of f ices , tweratyf ive percent f or
productian of the Pye glasses, and twenty-five percent for
storage.
