Knaak, 483-5431
Dee Knaak is with the Lakeridge Nursing Home in Ro;eville,
just west of Victoria Avenue, which was sold in Aug+ust of
1985 to Beverly Enterprises of Pasedena, California. These
folks own and manage forty-two nursing homes in Minntsota.
Dee notes that their program is requiring additional prking
for their facility in Roseville. She inquired abou.t the
possibility of having parking facilities across Victoria on
the lakeshore, We suggested that parking expansion :ould
best be accomplished north of their site where they awn an
additional ane hundred feet of frontage on Victoria. She did
not realize that they owned this property, which wauld appear
to be an apprapriate solution to their concern.
We stressed the importance of parking lo elevelopment having
to be done carefully and well, with appropriate screening and
landscaping on the north side contiguous to the single family
zone. This additional one hundred fet of property is zonea
-1, which will allow apprariate parking expansion on the
site.
