' <br />ISSUES AND CONCERNS <br />Steven Schwanke, Council staff (ext. 6594), presented the report and answ�red <br />questions from th� Committee. Mr. Schwanke indicated that the city of <br />Ros�ville has submitted a comprehensive plan amendment since preparation of �he <br />staff report. This plan amendment is presently being reWiewed by Council staff <br />to determine whether a patential exists for the development to negatively <br />impact regional systems. <br />RECOMMENQATIONS <br />That the Council adopt this report anei its conclusians as its comments on the <br />Lexington Environmental Assessment Worksheet. <br />1. The EAW should fully assess the impacts of this project on Lake Josephin�'s <br />water quality. <br />2. That these comments be forwarded to the Rice Creek Watershed District, the <br />Minn�sota Pollution Control Agency, and the U.S. Environmental Pratection <br />Agency. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Joan Campbell, Chair <br />
