The project is proposed <br />by Can-American Realty Corporation. The eity of Roseville is the responsible <br />governmental unit for this EAW. <br />The Lsxington develQpment will consist of 25� multi-fami.�.y residential units, <br />six 9ingle-family re�idential units, 20,OQ0 square feet of retail space, and <br />3.6 acres of parklarad on a 30-aere site in the city of Roseville. The project <br />�ite is bounded by Couraty Road C2 on the north, Gexington Avenue on the ea.st, <br />� Woodhill Llrive on the south, and single family residences along North Griggs <br />street to the wes�� <br />AUTHORIT�' TO REVIEW, <br />EAWs prepared under the Minnesota Enviror�mental Policy Aet must be submitted to <br />the Metropolitan Couneil and oth�r agencies. Any recipient of an EAW or a <br />mecuber of the pualic may make eomments and reeommendations to the c�ity oi' <br />Ra�eville . <br />COI�lENT� . <br />Nietropolitan Deuelmpment and Y.nves�m�nt Frameworke <br />The EAW indi�ates thai �he proposed project is inconsistent with the local <br />adopted comprehensive � snd use glan. According to the document, the city oF <br />Roseville intends to change th� land use plan for the site such that the <br />northerly partion af the ait� is law density residential, the interior of the <br />aite i� high density residential, the southeastern portion of the sit� is <br />general business, and �he southwes�ern portion of' the site is park. <br />Water Quality (Dick Osgood ) . <br />The 30 acre project will run all oi' �h� stormwater from the developed site into <br />Little Lake Josephine (DNR wetland 201W ). The EAW assesses the treatment of <br />. sotrmwater by ponds on the site as well as by Little Lake Josephine relative to <br />impacts on Lake Josephine . <br />
