Waldron
Modification of Plan ng Fees
Attached is an analysis thak I had Rick prepare, based ox a
urvey that Coon Rapids has recently completed.
We are depicting two basic alternatives. One invQlves a
moderate ircrease, and the other, a more substantial incrase.
With either appxoach, i am recommending that the PUD and
Comprehensive Plan Amendment be considered as separate items,
requiring, certain fees. Pesenly, th,ere is n comprehensive
plan modificaion fee ard th P.U. D, is folded in with the
special us. Alternativ s.ill keeps the cit blow he
averag es charged in other itieso The seonc altrnativ
places Roseville over the average but does not exceed th "high
o any fees depcted. Alternative 1 would produce $13,875.(30,
while Alternativ 2 should poduce 22,000.00. The curren
mount generated by tne existing iee structure is $6,30a.00. I
would suggest that this item be discussed fair].y soon at a work
session, as the city is entring its peak phas ir terms of
planning activity.
