<br />r� �, Our motivation for applying for �chis permit was prampted by a ,
<br />meeting with Mr. Howard D�,hlgren and Mr. Richard Jopke on
<br />Wednesday, April 25, 1990. At this meeting, Messrs. Dahlgren and
<br />Jopke explained in great detail the policies and procedures the
<br />City of Roseville is required to follow in these matters. Although
<br />� both of these men were very supportive, and generous in their
<br />praises of the Marina, they pointed out certain conditions needed
<br />to be addressed. �
<br />Primary among these conditions is th�e Miller lot, which we use for
<br />pa.rking, mnd for winter storage. Also, the Marina property was
<br />never granted a special use permit in 1959 when Roseville was
<br />rezoned. Rather, it was "grandfathered" as a legitimate commercial
<br />enterprise. Following the advice and recommendations of Messrs.
<br />Dahlgren and Jopke, we would like to obtain these special use
<br />permits so that there are no "loose strings" that prohibit our
<br />continued operation.
<br />As an aside, we have also begun to inform
<br />developments concerning this issue. Of
