Special studies include: computer <br />models for the prediction oi noise environments during both launch <br />and static fire rocket operations, long—distance propagation <br />characteristics of sound, atmospheric eound attenuation, sonic <br />boom generation and propagation from the space shuttle, and human <br />responses to bo�h impulsive and non—impulsive sounds. <br />7/1965 — FORD MOTOR COMPANY, Dearborn, Michigan <br />2/1968 Product Design Engineer, Advanced Car Systems Engineering <br />Designed chassis systems of automobiles four years ahead of <br />production. Special studies include: power train vibrations, <br />automotive aerodynamics, collision performance of light vehicles, <br />fuel emissions� and human steering response. <br />9/1963 — TUL.I.NE UNIVERSITY, New Orleans, Louisiana <br />6/1965 Research Assistant, Mechanical Engi.neering Department <br />Designed and developed a new acoustical facility to test <br />aerodyna.mic jet noise.
