at minimum 6 hours per day. The Contractor shall have on duty <br />Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. a dispatch <br />customer service representative to receive customer calls and route <br />issues. The Contractor shall provide a 24 hour answering service line <br />or device to receive customer calls. The Route Supervisor and all <br />collection vehicles must be equipped with 2 -way communication <br />devices. <br />Contractor's personnel will be trained both in program operations <br />and in customer service and insure that all personnel maintain a <br />positive attitude with the public and in the work place. <br />Contractor shall provide copies of all internal corporate policies and <br />procedures regarding program operation management that ensure that <br />all personnel will adhere to the appropriate personnel conduct <br />including, but not limited to, the following requirements: <br />1. Conduct themselves at all times in a courteous manner and use <br />no abusive or foul language. <br />2. Perform their duties in accordance with all existing laws, <br />ordinances, and regulations; and future amendments thereto of <br />the Federal, State of Minnesota, and local governing bodies, <br />including federal and state Departments of Transportation. <br />3. Be clean and presentable in appearance, as so far as possible. <br />4. Wear a uniform and employee identification badge or name <br />tag. <br />5. Drive in a safe and considerate manner. <br />6. Manage containers in a careful manner, by picking them up, <br />emptying their contents into the collection vehicle, and placing <br />— not throwing or sliding —the container back in its curbside <br />location so as to avoid spillage and littering or damage to the <br />container. <br />7. Monitor for any spillage and be responsible for cleaning up <br />any litter or breakage. <br />8. Avoid damage to property. <br />9. Only discard cigarette or cigar butts and tobacco ash in a <br />proper receptacle on the collection vehicle. <br />10. Not smoke while inside garages, multifamily complexes or <br />other enclosed buildings. <br />5.04. Recvcline Containers <br />Contractor must submit proposals for options in which the vendor <br />owns the carts and in which the City owns the carts. Please see <br />Attachment E. <br />14 <br />
