<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1234 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE X, CHAPTER 1002, 1006, 1008, <br />and 1013 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE CONCERNING DEFINITIONS, <br />SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICTS, CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS AND <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS <br /> <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 1002.02 of the Roseville City Code is amended by adding the <br />following definitions to read as follows: <br /> <br />TWENTY-FOUR HOUR USES: Any commercial use that is regularly open for business or <br />involves other significant, outdoor activity during any hour between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 1006 of the Roseville City Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1006.01: ESTABLISHMENT: In order to provide for modern retail sales and service facilities <br />of integrated design in appropriate locations, the "S-C" Shopping Center District is <br />established. It is intended that development within a shopping center district be designed and <br />developed as an integrated unit according to an overall plan. <br /> <br />1006.013: PLAN REQillREMENTS: The proposed development shall be constructed in <br />accordance with an overall plan designed as a single architectural unit with appropriate <br />landscaping and shall provide for the initial construction of either a minimum of ten thousand <br />(10,000) square feet of floor area or a minimum of six (6) of the uses permitted in this district. <br />A proposed plan for the ultimate development of the district shall be filed with the plans in <br />applying for a building permit. Such plans shall include proposals for adequate handling of <br />parking, drainage, vehicular and pedestrian traffic and screening so as to allow the City to <br />determine the adequacy of such provisions. <br /> <br />1006.015: PLAN REVIEW: Plans for the initial construction, or modifications, expansions, <br />or extensions of previously approved plans for buildings or structures in existence on January <br />1, 2000 that increase the cube of any building or structure by more than ten percent (10%), or <br />that increase the required number of access points or parking spaces by more than ten percent <br />(10%), must be submitted and reviewed as conditional uses. <br />
