g. <br />Roseville’s Development Review Committee (DRC) met on March 19 and 26 to discuss this <br />БА <br />application, and DRC members indicated support for the redevelopment as well as the <br />ББ <br />variance necessary to support the current design. <br />БВ <br />PC <br />ВЉ <br />UBLICOMMENT <br />At the time this report was prepared, Planning Division staff has not received any <br />ВЊ <br />communications from the public about the variance request. <br />ВЋ <br />RA <br />ВЌ <br />ECOMMENDED CTION <br />Adopt a Variance Board Resolution <br />(Attachment D) approving a variances to §100456.H, <br />ВЍ <br />Surface Parking, of the Roseville Zoning Code to allow United Properties to construct the front <br />ВЎ <br />parking lot as proposed in their plans for the Applewood Pointe of Roseville at Central Park at <br />ВЏ <br />934 Woodhill Drive, subject to the following conditions: <br />ВА <br />a. <br />That the final parking lot design adjacent to Woodhill Drive be substantially similar to <br />ВБ <br />the plan included in this variance request dated April 6, 2016. <br />ВВ <br />AA <br />ЊЉЉ <br />LTERNATIVE CTIONS <br />Pass a motion to table one or more of the items for future action. <br />a. Tabling beyond <br />ЊЉЊ <br />May 10, 2016, will require extension of the 60-day action deadline established in Minn. <br />ЊЉЋ <br />Stat. §15.99. <br />ЊЉЌ <br />Adopt a resolution to deny the requested approval. <br />b. Denial should be supported by <br />ЊЉЍ <br />specific findings of fact based on the Variance Board’s review of the application, <br />ЊЉЎ <br />applicable zoning or subdivision regulations, and the public record. <br />ЊЉЏ <br />NS <br />ЊЉА <br />EXT TEPS <br />The decision of the Variance Board is final unless an appeal is filed. The appeal period remains <br />ЊЉБ <br />open for 10 days from the date of the decision, and an appeal may be made either by the <br />ЊЉВ <br />applicant or by another Roseville property owner.
