The applicant shall prepare a printed invitationidentifying the date, time, 24 place, and purpose of the openhouse and shall mail the invitation to the recipients in a list 25 prepared and provided in electronic format by CommunityDevelopment Department staff . 26 The recipients will includeproperty owners within the public hearing notification area 27 established in Chapter 108 of the City Code, members ofthe Planning Commission and City 28 Council, and othercommunity members that have registered to receive theinvitations. The 29 invitation shall clearly identify the name,phone number, and email address of the host of the 30 openhouse to be contacted by invitees who have questions butare unable to attend the open 31 house. The invitations shallalso include a sentence that is substantially the same as the 32 following: 33 This open house meeting is an important source of feedback fromnearby property owners 34 and is a required step in the process ofseeking City approval for the proposed \[zoning map 35 change/interim use\], and a summary of the comments and questionsraised at the open house 36 meeting will be submitted to the City aspart of the formal application. 37 Summary: E. A written summary of the open house shall besubmitted as a necessary 38 component of an application forapproval of a proposal requiring a developer open house 39 meeting. 40 Proposed Amendment 41 Based on City Council direction, the following amendments have been proposed by the Planning 42 staff: 43 Timing: not less than 15 days and B.
