Appoint Member to Finance Commission <br />McGehee moved, Etten seconded, appointment of Matt Harold to the Finance <br />Commission to serve for a term to expire March 31, 2017. <br />Councilmember Laliberte noted the great group of candidates that applied, with <br />concurrence from her colleagues. <br />At the request of Mayor Roe, City Manager Trudgeon advised that the new advi- <br />sory commissioner training video was now posted on line for public viewing. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />15. Business Items — Presentations/Discussions <br />a. CTV North Suburbs Strategic Direction Discussion <br />Mayor Roe introduced Ms. Barbara Raye, a familiar facilitator to the City of Ro- <br />seville, and recently hired as an independent contractor by CTV to serve as a fa- <br />cilitator for their strategic planning process, and review by the CTV North Sub- <br />urbs Board of Directors to look at the services it provided. Mayor Roe noted that <br />Ms. Raye would be consulting with all nine member cities, area school boards and <br />other stakeholders involved with CTV. <br />Barbara Raye <br />Ms. Raye briefly reviewed the strategic planning process being undertaken by <br />CTV and as part of their franchise negotiations, creating a good time to take a step <br />
