The Commission is promoting this event and there will be advertising through the <br />City's website, the Review, and other communication channels. <br />Youth Commissioner Report <br />a. Receive Update on Film Screening <br />Youth Commissioner Cederberg stated due to time constraints in scheduling the <br />event it had been decided to look at scheduling a film screening for the fall of 2016. <br />b. Receive Update on Summer Book Read <br />Youth Cederberg stated he would get the summer book list from the school this <br />month and talk with Marcus Lowry to determine the dates for the discussions. <br />Staff Report <br />a. Finance Update and Discussion <br />Ms. Collins provided an update on the Commission's financial obligations. <br />b. Other Items <br />Ms. Collins stated this would be her last meeting as the Staff Liaison for the Human <br />Rights Commission. She would be taking on the role of Interim Community <br />Development Director. Carolyn Curti would be the new Staff Liaison. <br />Future Agenda Items <br />Chair Groff stated the next agenda would include an update on 'Forward Into Light' <br />and the summer book read, a presentation from 2nd Chance Coalition, and swearing <br />in of new Commissioners. <br />Adjournment <br />Commissioner Carey moved and Commissioner Slade seconded a motion to <br />adjourn.
