EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />PursLiant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the Cin•� <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Nlinnesota, �vas held on the 24`�' dav of August 201 � at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br />The followin� �lembers 4vere present: Laliberte, NLcGehee, `Villmus, Etten, Roe <br />and none �cere absent. <br />Council �Iember McGehee introduced the follo�i•ing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />R�SOLUTION NO. 112�7 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEI�IPORARY CLASSR001�I FACILITY AS AN <br />INTERI�I USE AT 2131 FAIRVIE�V AVE�'UE (PF13-010) <br />`UHERE�IS, Hand In Hand Christian �lontessori has applied for rene�ved appro��al ot`the <br />etistin�7 temporaiy classroom faeility as an interim use in conjunction ���ith Church of Corpus <br />C1lristi, o�� ner of the property at 21 � 1 Fair��ie�v Avenue; and <br />�,�'HERE<�S, the propzrn� at ? 131 Fair�,�ie�v° �venue is legallv described as: <br />PIti: 16-29-23-21-0(32� <br />Outlot �, Corpus Christi Acldition, R�mse�� Count�, �Iinnesota <br />���'HERE�S, the Rose��ille Plannin��� Commission held the public hearin� reUarding thz <br />rene���al of the interim use on .�uC7ust �, ?Ol �, ��otin� 7— 0 to recommend approval of the request <br />based on t�stimonv ofrered at the public hearin« a5 �velL as thz information and tindin�,�s pro��ided <br />���ith the staFf repor� prepared for said public hearin�; and <br />`�'HEREAS, the Roseville Cin� Council has determined that approval of the proposed <br />interim use �vill not result in adverse impacts to the surroundin� properties based on the <br />fo1lo��ing findin�s: <br />a. the proposed school use is essentially the same as e:�istin� uses on site so the <br />interim use would not have si�niiicant negati��e effects on the land; <br />b. The interim use does not constitute an elcessive burden on streets, parks, or other <br />facilities because the proposed temporaiy classroom represents a rather minor expansion <br />of e�isting land uses; and <br />c. With the proper maintenance of the drain tile device installed as the storm �vater <br />miti�ation measure in satisfaction of a condition of the existing interim use approval, the <br />temporary classroom structure �vill not be injurious to the surrounding neighborhood or <br />other�vise harm the public health, safet��, and �eneral welfare. <br />Pa�e l of 4 <br />
