<br />Commissioner O’Brien inquired into the steps for forming the task force and moving forward 96 <br />and bring the commission’s recommendation to the Council for their information and to 97 <br />create a clear trail of transparency. 98 <br /> 99 <br />Commission Recommendation: 100 <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to inform the City Council that the Parks and Recreation 101 <br />Commission has reviewed & supports the process suggested by staff to look into options for 102 <br />improvements at the Cedarholm Clubhouse, and based on the City Council’s direction to 103 <br />engage the public on this initiative it is recommended to model the process after past Parks & 104 <br />Recreation engagement models. Second by Commissioner Diedrick. Passed Unanimously. 105 <br /> 106 <br />6. STAFF REPORT 107 <br />Brokke briefed the Commission on: 108 <br /> Hosted a successful New Years Eve on Ice event at the Skating Center, over 2000 109 <br />attendees. 110 <br /> Upper Villa Ballfield Project is completed for the season. Softball teams will be playing 111 <br />on a modified field and turf will be replaced in the fall. A park patrol vehicle shed has 112 <br />been added near the back stop at the Villa Park Ball Fields. 113 <br /> The finalized Wildlife Management Ordinance has been included in the packet. 114 <br /> There is a Natural Resources Volunteer Opportunity scheduled for January 18 from 115 <br />10am-12N at Autumn Grove Park. The January project is building Bee Nests.
