REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date: April 18, 2016 <br /> Item No.: 15.a <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Item Description: CTV North Suburbs Strategic Direction Discussion <br /> <br />1 <br />B <br />ACKGROUND <br />2 <br />The Board of Directors of CTV North Suburbs is asking for input from member cities as part of its <br />3 <br />strategic planning process currently underway. They are looking at ensuring that CTV North is meeting <br />4 <br />the needs of the member cities and its residents. To that end, CTV North has hired Barbara Raye to <br />5 <br />facilitate discussion with each member City Council to gather input. Included with Attachment A are <br />6 <br />questions that CTV would like input on as well as background material on CTV North <br />7 <br /> <br />8 <br />PO <br />OLICY BJECTIVE <br />9 <br />City Council input into the strategic direction of CTV North will help ensure that its operations meet the <br />10 <br />needs of the community. <br />11 <br />FI <br />INANCIAL MPACTS <br />12 <br />At this point, there is not a direct financial implication.
