Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, May 23, 2016 <br />Page 8 <br />a. Request for Approval of Minor Clarifying Amendments to Subdivision Code, <br />Section 1103.06 (Lot Standards) <br />Senior Planner Bryan Lloyd revised this request as detailed in the RCA redlined <br />and Exhibit B attached. <br />At the request of Councilmember Willinus, Mr. Lloyd clarified that everything in <br />Section 10 of the City Zoning Code would remain intact, including lot size stand- <br />ards as spelled out in text. <br />Etten moved, McGehee seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1501 (RCA Ex- <br />hibit B) entitled, "An Ordinance Amending Title 11 of Roseville City Code, Clar- <br />ifying the Intent and Applicability of Certain Subdivision Regulations)." <br />Regarding text in the new Section F(page 2, lines 62 — 64), Councilmember <br />Laliberte asked if language was appropriate where lots back "up on" or "upon" a <br />thoroughfare. <br />Mr. Lloyd reported that, based on his research, the term "upon" was the correct <br />terminology for referencing lots with two frontages. <br />Mayor Roe expressed appreciation for the thoughtfulness of staff and the Plan- <br />ning Commission in reviewing this, noting several lot side line issues had come <br />up with a number of subdivisions recently. Mayor Roe thanked them for their ef- <br />forts; and even though these text amendments seemed like a lot of words, it <br />should be helpful for developers in determining what worlcs. Mayor Roe ex- <br />pressed his personal acknowledgement of the work that went into this recommen- <br />dation. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee, and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />Etten moved, McGehee seconded, enactment of Ordinance Summary No. 1501 <br />(RCA Exhibit C) entitled, "An Ordinance Summary Amending Title 11 of Rose- <br />ville City Code, Clarifying the Intent and Applicability of Certain Subdivision <br />Regulations)." <br />Roll Call (Super Majority) <br />Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee, and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />11.
