Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, July 25, 2016 <br />Page 2 <br />On behalf of the community and City Council, Councilmember Laliberte recognized the <br />recent national advocacy award received by Rep. Alice Houseman, presented by the Na- <br />tional Housing and Redevelopment Association. <br />City Manager Trudgeon announced an upcoming "Discover Your Parks" at Howard <br />Johnson Park; and reminded the public and City Council of the upcoming Family Night <br />Out at Central Park, and the annual Night to Unite, with 90 different neighborhoods at <br />last count planning neighborhood activities. <br />City Manager Trudgeon also announced an upcoming Community Conversation at the <br />Fairview Community Center sponsored by Roseville School District No. 623 for an op- <br />portunity to have conversations with fellow community members related to recent local <br />and nationwide events. <br />6. Recognitions, Donations and Communications <br />a. Night to Unite Proclamation <br />Mayor Roe read a proclamation declaring August 2, 2016 "Night to Unite" in Ro- <br />seville, calling all citizens to joint in this annual neighborhood event. <br />Etten moved, Willmus seconded, proclaiming August 2, 2016 as "Night to Unite," <br />calling upon all Roseville citizens to join Roseville Neighbarhood Watch Groups <br />and the Minnesota Crime prevention Association in supporting this annual event. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten, and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />7. Approve Minutes <br />Comments and corrections to drezft minutes hczd been submitted by the City Council prior <br />to tonight's meeting and those revisions were incorporated into the drezft presented in the <br />Council packet. <br />a. Approve July 11, 2016 City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Willmus moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the July ll, 2016 City Council <br />Meeting Minutes as presented. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten, and Roe. <br />Nays: None. <br />b. Approve July 18, 2016 City Council Meeting Minutes <br />McGehee moved, Etten seconded, approval of the July 18, 2016 City Council <br />Meeting Minutes as amended. <br />
