The Roseville HRC would be helping to <br />49 <br />promote this event. <br />50 <br /> <br />51 <br /> nd <br />c.Discuss 2 Chance Coalition <br />52 <br /> <br />53 <br />nd <br />Commissioner Slade stated she had talked with 2 Chance Coalition and they are open to <br />54 <br />bringing one or two people to the next HRC meeting for a 10-minute presentation on what their <br />55 <br />nd <br />initiatives are and how the HRC could be involved. 2 Chance Coalition is a coalition of civic <br />56 <br />leaders, businesses and organizations who are working on restoring the vote for those who are on <br />57 <br />probation and those who have served their time. <br />58 <br /> <br />59 <br />New Business <br />60 <br /> <br />61 <br /> <br />a.Report of Recent Community Events/Review of Upcoming Events <br />62 <br /> <br />63 <br />Youth Commissioner Cederberg stated he had attended the Volunteer Dinner with Commissioner <br />64 <br />Christiansen. <br />65 <br /> <br />66 <br />Commissioner Slade asked if there had been an increase in the number of volunteers since the <br />67 <br />Volunteer Coordinator started. <br />68 <br /> <br />69 <br />Ms. Collins stated there had been an increase. <br />70 <br /> <br />71 <br /> <br />b.Review 2016 Calendar of Events <br />72 <br /> <br />73 <br />Chair Groff stated the Essay Contest Winner Council Recognition was rescheduled from April <br />74 <br />11 to May 16. There is Ethics Training for all Commissioners on April 13. <br />75 <br /> <br />76 <br />Ms. Collins stated this would include information of the Ethics Commission. One member from <br />77 <br />each Commission would form this Commission. <br />78 <br /> <br />79 <br />Chair Groff stated the Naturalization Ceremony was scheduled for April 18. The next <br />80 <br />Commission meeting is April 20. <br />81 <br /> <br />82 <br />Ms. Collins stated she would like to received all of the essay rubrics by April 11 in order to <br />83 <br />determine the top essays for the Commission to rank. <br />84 <br /> <br />85 <br />Chair Groff stated the Commission will need to have a planning session for the Rosefest Parade <br />86 <br />when the new Commissioners are able to participate in the discussions. <br />87 <br /> <br />88 <br />Commissioner Carey asked if the March 31 prescreening of the video on rental rights and <br />89 <br />responsibilities would be open to the public. <br />90 <br /> <br /> <br />
