Human Rights Commission Minutes <br />October 21, 2015 <br />Page 7 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Slade stated she would like to offer an honorarium for the Community <br />Conversation. <br /> <br />Ms. Collins suggested the organization send an invoice. The budget does account for $100 <br />honorarium for this event. <br /> <br />Commissioner Christiansen asked if the Commission could become members of the Institute that <br />had done the Civility Training program. <br /> <br />Chair Groff stated there was a fee but they could vote to become member. The Commission <br />does not typically join a lot of organizations. He would recommend joining as individuals rather <br />than as a Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Christiansen asked if the Commission would be doing a follow up to the Civility <br />Training in 2016. <br /> <br />Chair Groff suggested discussing this after the November 16 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Carey stated there was interest in the training. She would like to add to next <br />month’s agenda a discussion on potential projects for 2016. If they do a follow up to the Civility <br />Training she would like to know that the City supports it first. <br /> <br />Commissioner Christiansen asked if the Commission would be meeting in December. <br /> <br />Chair Groff stated the Commission would meet in December if there was a need. <br /> <br /> <br />b.Other Items <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br /> <br />Future Agenda Items <br /> <br /> <br />Chair Groff stated the next agenda would include a 2016 work plan discussion. <br /> <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Carey moved and Commissioner Christiansen seconded a motion to <br />adjourn.
